About the book

The C.O.S.M.O.S. Method is a six-phase framework for planning a marketing campaign and checking it before and after it runs. Each letter is one phase, from setting the goal to reading the results.

The method scores a campaign twice. Phases one to five give a pre-launch score, so a team can find weak points before committing the budget. The final phase, Survey, adds the results after launch, so the next campaign starts from what actually worked.

Elen developed the framework from campaign work at Davel Creative Agency.

The six phases

  • ClarifyGoals, KPIs and the audience
  • ObserveMarket, audience and competitor research
  • ShapeThe concept and its emotional hook
  • MaterializeProduction of videos, visuals and assets
  • OrchestrateChannels, timing, budget and launch
  • SurveyPerformance, feedback and lessons
